Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara literasi digital dengan efikasi kendiri, penggunaan media sosial serta tingkah laku positif dalam kalangan pelajar di Daerah Barat Daya, Pulau Pinang. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan analisis kuantitatif. Instrumen kajian berbentuk soal selidik skala likert lima mata yang diedarkan menggunakan Google Form. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan kaedah statistik bagi menentukan tahap pemboleh ubah serta hubungan antara pemboleh ubah yang dikaji. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara literasi digital dengan efikasi kendiri. Dapatan turut menunjukkan bahawa literasi digital mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan dengan penggunaan media sosial serta mendorong penggunaan media sosial secara lebih beretika dan bertanggungjawab. Seterusnya didapati bahawa tahap literasi digital yang baik menyumbang kepada pembentukan tingkah laku positif dalam kalangan pelajar. Secara keseluruhan, kajian ini membuktikan bahawa literasi digital memainkan peranan penting dalam mempengaruhi keyakinan diri, penggunaan media sosial secara bertanggungjawab serta pembentukan tingkah laku positif pelajar dalam era digital.
