Abstract

Dalam era digital yang pesat membangun, kecerdasan buatan (AI) membuka dimensi baharu dalam pendekatan pengajaran dan pembelajaran (PdP). Walau bagaimanapun, pemanfaatan elemen AI dalam pengajaran mata pelajaran umum (MPU) di universiti seperti Falsafah dan Isu Semasa masih terhad. Kaedah pengajaran tradisional yang diamalkan didapati kurang berkesan untuk menarik minat generasi digital yang lebih cenderung kepada rangsangan visual dan interaktif. Justeru, kajian ini dijalankan bagi meneroka potensi penggunaan chatbot AI Generative Pre-trained Transformer (GPT) dalam memperkayakan proses pengajaran Falsafah dan Isu Semasa kepada golongan pelajar generasi digital. Kajian ini membangunkan dan mengimplementasikan chatbot Sophia AI, sebuah inovasi berasaskan teknologi GPT, yang direka khusus untuk pengajaran Falsafah dan Isu Semasa. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahawa Sophia AI berupaya menyediakan pengalaman pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan disesuaikan mengikut keperluan individu, memudahkan pemahaman konsep abstrak menerusi dialog yang responsif dan intuitif, serta selari dengan kecenderungan pembelajaran golongan pelajar generasi digital. Dapatan kajian ini penting dalam usaha merangka strategi pengajaran yang lebih berkesan, bukan sahaja untuk meningkatkan tahap pemahaman pelajar terhadap Falsafah dan Isu Semasa, bahkan turut melengkapkan mereka dengan kemahiran berfikir secara kritis yang amat diperlukan dalam era digital. Kajian ini menggariskan potensi pemanfaatan AI dalam memformulasikan pendekatan pengajaran inovatif yang menepati keperluan dan gaya pembelajaran pelajar kontemporari, sambil membuka ruang untuk penyelidikan lanjut mengenai keberkesanan jangka panjang integrasi AI dalam pendidikan tinggi.
