Tempoh kelulusan kertas kerja projek penilaian pelajar yang panjang, kekurangan sumber kewangan, fasiliti yang terhad dan kekerapan pengecualian kuliah tentunya memberi cabaran besar kepada pengurusan akademik dalam persediaan ke arah revolusi industri 5.0. Justeru, projek ini diilhamkan bagi menginovasikan proses pengurusan akademik melalui pembangunan sebuah sistem yang dinamakan e-Mega Pro. e-Mega Pro meletakkan ciri inovasi melalui kalendar interaktif yang membolehkan penggabungan beberapa projek pelajar menjadi satu projek mega berimpak tinggi dan dapat menjimatkan kos. Hasil ujilari menunjukkan penjimatan kos penilaian berterusan pelajar sebanyak RM122 537.50 mampu dicapai dalam tempoh 5 semester. Antara faedah ketara lain yang dicapai dengan penggunaan e-Mega Pro adalah memendekkan tempoh penerimaan surat kelulusan kertas kerja projek pelajar daripada 14 hari kepada 5 hari bekerja, penjimatan 40% kos kertas dan percetakan, dan sifar kadar bersemuka. Ia konsisten dengan polisi penjimatan kerajaan dalam perbelanjaan operasi universiti. Impak projek kepada organisasi adalah pengurangan proses kerja manakala kepada persekitaran dapat mengurangkan penggunaan kertas. e-Mega Pro sangat berpotensi untuk diadaptasi secara terus atau diubahsuai mengikut keperluan agensi dan amat berpotensi untuk digunapakai oleh pelbagai institusi yang melibatkan pengurusan acara.
